A Chairde,
It is with heavy hearts that we offer condolences to the Gray family on the passing of Jimmy Gray, husband of Gretta, father of John, Tom, the late Dominic, Carmel and Annemarie; sitting President of Dublin GAA; and a founder member and first registrar of CLG Na Fianna.
Among Jimmy’s many accolades he played in Dublin’s last All Ireland Hurling Final appearance in 1961, he served as Chairman of CLG Na Fianna from ‘85 -‘90 and again as President in more recent years. His service to the GAA extended to the roles of Chairman of the Dublin County Board for 11 years and Chairman of the Leinster Council for three years after that.
Numerous tributes to Jimmy, and his dedication to Gaelic Games and particularly to Na Fianna can be found all over :

Our four Senior teams will form a guard of honour inside the church gates on Saturday morning. Club members attending the funeral service are asked to wear Na Fianna colours.
Direction from the Gray family is that all GAA activities should continue as normal and what better way to honour Jimmy’s legacy than to take to the field this weekend representing the club he cherished, partaking in the Gaelic games he championed.
Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam dhílis.
