The "Draįocht" Drama Group, who have been closely associated with Na Fianna for about 50 years, return to the club to present Da by Hugh Leonard on Thursday March 30th at 7.30pm.
This comedy explores the relationship of Charlie, a successful playwright, with his adoptive father. Set in 1960s Dublin, we find Charlie in his childhood home just after Da’s funeral. While he sorts through his father’s things, he is visited by Da’s ghost, who stubbornly refuses to leave the house or his son’s mind. A play full of frustrating and funny moments that defined the complex relationship between father and son.
Pre-Covid, the drama group regularly presented plays at Mobhi Road, and we are delighted to welcome them back this month.
Tickets are just 10 euro for, which you can get by contacting Ann Ryan at 086-3400387.
