What a performance this afternoon by our senior footballers at Parnell Park. It literally couldn't have been closer: just one point separating the two teams at full-time.

We want to take this moment to congratulate Lar Norton, his backroom team and the entire squad on bringing the club to its first senior football final in over 20 years. We know and appreciate the hard work that this takes, and we are particularly proud of how our club acquitted itself both on and off the field.

Even in defeat our players stayed on the pitch to chat with and sign autographs for the club's young members, who had come to support them, and regardless of the result, were most definitely inspired by them.

We know they will be back. And so will we, supporting them all the way. #NaFiannaAbu
