Na Fianna's Rounders section made history in a few different ways last weekend.

Firstly, the team reached the 2020 All-Ireland Final of the inaugural Mixed Intermediate Rounders Competition, which was finally played on June 12th 2021 in Abbottstown. Na Fianna faced Michael Glaveys from Roscommon.

Secondly, the Na Fianna team featured Michéal Geoghegan, the oldest player (age 76) ever to play in an All-Ireland GAA final.

Although overtaken by Glaveys after the third inning - you can read a detailed match report here - massive congratulations are due to the team for making it all the way to an All-Ireland final in their first year of competing in the competition. Comhghairdeas!
