The GAA is committed to creating and maintaining the safest possible environment for all young people who wish to participate in our Gaelic Games and activities.  In support of this and all mentors/ volunteers working with underage children in the club must have the appropriate compliance procedures in place before engaging with underage teams. As a minimum every coach involved with underage training (players under 18) MUST HAVE Garda vetting within the last 3 years, Safeguarding 1 workshop completed (within the last 3 years) and Foundation level coaching workshop.

In preparation for GAA Child Safeguarding Audit, the Club are currently updating information on the club underage mentors list all mentors are requested to complete the survey confirming details of their Child Safeguarding compliance. This will provide us with an up to date list of mentors per code and age group and assist in identifying the gaps in any compliance requirement.
Please access and update your status via this form here

Even if you don't have all your details re Garda Vetting, child safeguarding and coaching please still complete the survey. The important thing is that every mentor completes the survey so we have a complete list of who’s involved in what team for each code. Thank you to those who have already completed same already. Please note this will be an annual process so mentors should keep their records up to date.
