Last week, on St Patrick's Day, Na Fianna members donned their club colours and attempted to reach 10 million steps in 24 hours. In reality, an immense 40 million steps were logged, with the winning group - 2005 Girls - logging over 4million steps just by themselves.
It was a super day for everyone involved, including our young 'roving reporters' who interviewed club members during the day. We have compiled a video roundup of the day from their video interviews, which you can see on the Na Fianna facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CLGNaFianna
We were also delighted to partner with local charity Childvision. Based in Drumcondra, Childvision is the only place in Ireland totally dedicated to the education and therapy needs of blind and multi-disabled children, and the work they do makes the world a less scary place for children who cannot see, cannot move very well or who have complex medical conditions.
We have kept the 10 Million Steps Challenge donate link open on the Na Fianna website, and would ask anyone who benefitted from and enjoyed last week's event to consider, if you can, making a donation. You can do so here: https://clgnafianna.clubzap.com/products/3170/purchases/new
