A Chairde,
An Taoiseach announced this evening that Dublin will be moving to Level 3 on the Government's "Resilience and Recovery Plan for Living with Covid-19" at midnight tonight, for three weeks.
The GAA's Covid Advisory Group have issued, this week, some key updates on what this means for those involved in Gaelic Games: we have posted this on the club's website. We would ask all members, and particularly players, mentors and coaches, to familiarise themselves with what this means for club activity.
In particular, please note that at Level 3, there can be NO underage matches (u18 and down) including internal matches. Non-contact training only, in groups of 15 (inclusive of two mentors) can continue next week. Nursery will be cancelled for tomorrow to allow us to recalibrate for next week.
Dublin GAA have confirmed that Adult Games will go ahead as scheduled this weekend but behind closed doors i.e. no spectators.
We will update you with any new information as we receive it. In the meantime, can we request that all members strictly adhere to the revised important public health guidelines in the interest of all our community.
Ní neart go cur le chéile,
Cormac Ó Donnchú
