Last Sunday afternoon Na Fianna's Mixed Rounders team travelled to Ballinagore, Co. Westmeath to play the 2018 junior champions in our second league match.  We worked hard on defence making catches and plays around the pitch from Damian Murphy, Daragh O'Tuama, Rachel Jamieson-Murphy, Karen McHugh, Grainne O'Callaghan,  led by steady pitching from Liam Whelehan.

Unfortunately our bats awakened too late in the game to reel in the home team and Ballinagore prevailed 30-16 in a match played in high winds and rain. Congratulations to Laura Power on scoring twice on her Rounders debut and Aoife Gately on scoring 4 points in her second game!  

Our final league matches are: 
13 Sept. v. Sean Connolly's in Tymon park Dublin.
20 Sept. v. Michael Glaveys at home.
