A Chairde
Since the country was put into lockdown in mid March, the club has worked on our members’ behalf to do a lot of things differently – and do a lot of different things - to make it through this difficult time.
We have gathered some of our "lockdown numbers" to encapsulate the really great work our members have done in the last few months to keep the club's community heart beating. It's well worth a read – you can view and download it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rXpXQrN8oxtJ1qQkzuRuz8yu_6KjEScn/view?usp=sharing. We're so grateful for everyone's commitment and involvement.
However, there are other Covid numbers that club members need to know.
One of our biggest issues is that there is still €21,000 to raise for the completion of the All-Weather pitch refurbishment, as well as at least €10,000 needed for remedial works on pitches. But the lockdown has meant that we have seen a 60% decrease in club revenues in the second quarter of the year, and we have an expected deficit of €92,000 between April and August 2020.
In the document mentioned above, there are some suggestions for how people can get involved and help out, whether it's time, particular expertise, or financial assistance. As the All-Weather renovation is reaching its conclusion, and if people are in a position to do so, we'd ask you to particularly consider becoming an All-Weather Fan (a donation of €100) to help get that project over the line. We want our club to survive the Covid-19 pandemic. We want to make sure we have a strong club, great facilities, invested coaches and a supportive community for our teams and members. We need everyone's help to do this.

Executive Committee, CLG Na Fianna.
