Our event organisers have been working flat out to deliver what are going to be 2 amazing online events this coming Saturday and we're looking for your support..

Starting on Saturday morning we'll be looking for the whole club community to (virtually) come together for our VIRTUAL COAST TO COAST challenge #CoastToCoastChallenge

The idea is for as many club members as possible to 'run' from our home pitch on Mobhi Road, Dublin 9 all the way to Leenane in Co. Galway. We're calling our young members in particular to get their club colours on, to run, jump, dance or solo a portion of the journey on Saturday morning next.

We’ll kick it off during the last 10 minutes of Nursery on Saturday morning. After Nursery the U-8’s will take up the challenge, and then right through the age groups in 10 minute bursts from each group. The aim of the game is participation across all age groups, it's a really exciting concept with our Dublin stars leading the way in the run. This event is designed to serve two purposes - to bring us together for some fun and hopefully help raise funds to complete our All weather refurbishment which is due to start as soon as building restrictions are lifted..

The “run” will be live-broadcast on the Na Fianna Facebook page, so grandparents and extended family can join in to watch the fun. We'll track progress on a virtual map and feature some special Na Fianna inter-county guests as well as other distractions!

All participating Na Fianna teams/groups will be entered into a raffle for a virtual training session AND a grass training session later this year from our Na Fianna inter county players.

We know that for many families the current climate presents difficult times, so we only ask those that can to consider donating based on child €5, adult €10 and family rate €20, details here . Any funds raised will go towards the renewal of the small all weather surface planned for 2020.

Details on how to join in with your team will have been circulated by your team mentors so be sure to get in touch with them. Everybody should tune into the Na Fianna Facebook page from 10.30am on Saturday to watch all the action in our live Facebook broadcast and support this event. As part 2 of Saturday’s special Na Fianna online day, a bingo gameshow like no other bingo gameshow you’ve ever seen or been part of will take place at 8pm. It’s going to be some craic.
