Now in its 5th year the Na Fianna Fun Run is an event that attracts over 250 participants making it a firm favourite in the Na Fianna calendar. This year the Fun Run will support the redevelopment of the all-weather pitch.
So, what's special about this year's Fun Run? [other than it being a great club and community event]We are delighted to announce that as part of your registration you will get the opportunity to select one juvenile age group [10-16 years boys & girls] to help them to win a football or hurling training session with county players.
What does that mean? With the support of our club county players a special training session will be given to each of the football and hurling teams with the most support from the Fun Run registrations.
As before the Fun Run is OPEN TO EVERYONE. Whether you're a walker, jogger or seasoned club runner; whether you're ten or multiples of 10, we want you to join us on Good Friday for a run to remember!
Starting and finishing at the Na Fianna clubhouse, the event will take place on the local roads and take in a circuit of Albert College Park. Everyone will be chip-timed so friends and family members will be able to compare times and give themselves targets for future runs or walks.
If you have taken part before you are encouraged to return to test yourself against the times you posted before. Times from previous years can be found on http://www.redtagtiming.com/ and search for Na Fianna.
Part of a club team? Why not use it as a team building event, opportunity to test fitness levels, or organise an internal team competition!
